A Passover Update From JETS

Dear friends,

I hope this letter finds you well, anticipating the joy of the upcoming Passover celebrations.

Passover is the holiday of freedom. If you ask me, we could all use a bit more freedom in our lives. After a year of lockdowns, safer-at-home orders, travel restrictions and new rules every other day, we’re hopefully starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think we’ll all take a collective sigh of relief when this is all behind us, and life goes back to normal. How grateful will we be when we can visit our elderly relatives or leave home without a mask? It’s the little things in life that make us appreciate our freedom.

The entire premise of JETS is to give our boys the freedom to live a life that is consistent with Torah values while also having financial security. For a young man, knowing he has the ability to support his family can alleviate stress and lift the burden from his shoulders. He has the freedom to pursue a career that is meaningful and lucrative. He can give back to the community and live a life of dignity and purpose.

As the job market undergoes dramatic shifts before our eyes, it is now more crucial than ever to have the skills necessary to compete in today’s economy. This academic year, we introduced our new JETS Business School—an extended learning program called JETS CARES: Coding, Accounting & Real Estate School, as well as classes in Digital Marketing and WordPress website development. We are excited to share that the new program is off to a fantastic start, with students and teachers reporting excellent results. We look forward to continuing expanding our vocational offerings, as well as more courses under the JETS Business School umbrella.

We are also delighted to share with you that this academic year has been our most successful year to date, with an all-time record high in student applications and admittance to JETS. The Rebbe’s vision is alive in Granada Hills, and we could not be prouder of our mission to continue ensuring that today’s youth will become tomorrow’s leaders, and that Torah shall continue throughout the generations.

This Passover, consider supporting the future leaders of the Jewish community. Your contribution will make a difference in the life not only of a student, but his future family for generations to come. Click here to support JETS.

We wish you a kosher and happy Passover, and may you and your loved ones experience the true joy of freedom!
