Prerequisites:

  1. A minimum reading level of 9.0 as measured by the TABE D7/8 reading comprehension test.
  2. Writing fluency at an English 3 placement level determined by a student writing sample and evaluated by the receiving English instructor.
  3. Mastery of the competencies of Basic Math - Advanced.
  4. Recommendation of an instructor and/or a counselor.

Course Description:

This competency-based course is comprised of a review of the key concepts in the high school curriculum covering the five basic subject areas of language arts and writing, social studies, science, literature, and mathematics

After a student has completed this course, he may not be allowed to re-enroll in the course.

High School Diploma

The GED High School Diploma Program is designed for students with varying educational needs. Classes are completed at the students own pace.

Prerequisite: Reading Assessment prior to enrollment.
